View Full Version : Costumes
In this section we'll be presenting the costumes of the Gatekeeper movie.
Uniforms
The Gatekeeper movie has developed a uniform partly based on the one shown in Voyager's "Relativity" - or at least the right arm pattern (which is placed on the shoulders only).
While the colours for each department is symbolized the same way as in TNG, Voyager and Deep Space Nine (Photo 1), the Gatekeeper team has a metallic grey shoulder (Photo 2).
Starfleet Academy Cadets have the turtleneck only (Photo 3), and they are given the jacket when graduating.
The pips and rank system is the same as in TNG, DS9 and Voyager.
The Gatekeeper Vader
Those of you following the script knows that the Gatekeeper movie has two different Darth Vaders - the original Vader seen in a number of flash backs, and the new Vader cloned to life by the Borg Queen with the help of assimilated Kaminoans.
The New Dart Vader is bottled up on the dark force only and has off course no need of the helmet created for Darth Vader after his burn injuries. However - when setting of for the final battle he will indeed wear his helmet to put fear in the hearts of those that know him. But THIS helmet will be a redesigned one - close to the original - but a bit more evil looking.
The background for doing this is partly to separate the two, partly to demonstrate his total devotion to the dark force, and partly because the producers felt the original mask lacked the feel of power we all wanted for that character. It felt too big and clumsy.
Here's a peak at the original mask to be used in the Gatekeeper movie. Those of you devoted to Star Wars will recognise it as the revel helmet. The new Gatekeeper mask will NOT be known to anyone but the brilliant creator John-Cato Kristiansen Bekkensten and his team and the 4Fathers (producers).
Bekkensten has also provided the Reveal Helmet!
The Gatekeeper C3PO
As you all know our R2D2 is presented by Thomas Nixon and quite a few of our fans have asked were we'll get out C3PO - and here he is! C3Po is created by the fabulous John Cato Kristiansen Bekkensten that created the Vader mask, and is about to create a future Vader mask.
The robot is created to be worn by an actor (which is why I post this in the costume section) while R2D2 is an actial remote controlled robot, and is made just a little bit bigger to give better room inside. The actor for the part is still not casted but naturally we'll be needing a skinny person with a specific height (We'll get back to you on that), and with a talent for copying the original's well known movements. This can be a male or a female. The voice will be done by a separate voice over artist.
Here's a sneak peak:
