A good example of things looking good in one's head - or even on paper - but not necessarily in real life. This is two pages from our Gatekeeper Bible; a book of how Gatekeeper is produced - with every little detail. Should be big enough for you to read the text. It started with the real life setting of the Vigeland's Park in Oslo, Norway, before concept artist Johan Lundqvist created a beautiful Klingon inspired Space Elevator. Unfortunately it looked like a rabbit when recreated as a matte painting and we had to remove the "ears". This is a very common problem. Beautiful concepts losing their magic when made realistic.

PS! Oh yeah! Naturally you will be able to download the matte when it's finished - with an exciting futuristic Oslo in the background and far more details.The "ears" will be replaced for something else later to keep the Klingon feel to it! :)
