Bajoran Ridges!

Given that the remaining opening scenes with the Mars family is to be filmed soon, we have started to put together the Bajoran and Klingon Make-up! Here's a preliminary test! They will all look different on each Bajoran! Some very domenant, and some discreet!

The moulding of the faces of our two adults for the opening shot went well. They will be sanded and detailed tomorrow, before sculpting the alien make-up on top of the mouldings. The final result will them be shipped to our SFX expert Robin Lögdö, and he will create the final applications to be glued on to the actor's faces! We'll post photos of the entire process soon!

The Bajoran test pictures looks good. And its gonna be fun to see how moulding/face make up off this kind are done. Ill guess its more advanced than the cats make up I have experimented with^^ J.

Indeed! Our goal is to create the make-up as life like as possible, which means it needs to fit every single millimeter of the actor's face, and consist of different types of material depending on whether it should create wrinkles when moving the face or not. The next gatekeeper presentation film will present the technique!

First Klingon Make-up
In the opening sequence actor Joel Lindh portrays the family father - Klingon D'Oral. Here's his makeup (still not detailed). Klingon hair will be added to the latex version.
