On this page we'll present the Gatekeeper robots and androids (robots designed to look and act like humans/humanoids).

R2-D2

As you may already know we'll be using a fully functional R2-D2 for the Gatekeeper movie - created by the extraordinary talented Thomas Ira Nixon.

It took him approximately 800 hours to create the 70 kg clone of the world's best known robot, and about 4800 dollars - including insurance, shipping parts and duty tax.

Futaba 2.4Ghz T7C

Actuators / output devices:
•3 x 100w electric scooter motors,
•2 x Futaba modified Servos,
•Sabertooth dual 25A motor driver,
•SyRen 10A Regenerative Single Motor Driver

Power source:
•4 x 9v standard rechargeable squares batteries
•4 x 12v 18amp

Sound-system: Logitech’s Pure-Fi Anywhere speaker system
